DISOBEY.

Disobedient Spirits Distillery was established in 2014 in Homer City, PA. Founded by two professors at a local college, I was brought on to establish their visual identity and marketing platforms before launching the business. Inspired by local history and the Whiskey Rebellion of 1794, we were able to connect the righteous actions of our early American settlers with other significant acts of civil disobedience throughout our history.

I started as a Graphic Designer, but my role quickly expanded to Creative and Marketing Director. That included designing labels, promotional materials, advertisements, and merchandise while managing their social media and website. I was also in the barrel room helping to make our various spirits and bartending events when I wasn’t out in the market selling our product into accounts. I am forever grateful for this opportunity that allowed me to experience multiple facets of marketing and brand promotion.
